Kayla Kavanagh, a musician and one of the ‘New Faces of BPD’ talks about living with Borderline Personality Disorder. Find out more at http://www.kaylakavanagh.com
As a musician involved heavily in the performing and creative arts, I have been thinking of putting together an Arts Therapy Day for people with Borderline Personality Disorder in the UK - and I thought I’d ask here if it’d be something people were interested in!
The idea is that it would be a day where people with Personality Disorders (and friends/family) would be welcome to take a day off to meet each other and engage in some really fun creative art/music/poetry therapy … a day for sharing and positivity.

Would this be something that anyone would be interested in attending? If so, whereabouts in the UK would be best to base it? Do you have any specific ideas you’d like to see included? What day of the week would be best (around May 2010)?
